ENP MEETING AND ELECTIONS IN PODGORICA

On Thursday 27th March 2025, ENP members attended a meeting in Podgorica, Montenegro, where an election was conducted to convene a new Executive Board.

The meeting was attended by twelve representatives: from Spain, Lithuania, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Montenegro, Germany, Serbia, Ireland and Kosovo.

Mladen Šuškavčević, the President of the Police Union of Montenegro addressed ENP members. He expressed his support to the network and passed on his good wishes to the board and stated that by working together they are contributing to strengthening professional standards and greater representation of women in the security sector. During his speech, he also congratulated ENP president Montserrat Pina on the successful work she undertook during her presidency of the ENP.

Following elections, the new Executive Board (EB ENP) consists of: President Katarina Tomaševič from Serbia, Vice President Biljana Dulović from Montenegro, Secretary Apolonia Grobin Vehovec from Slovenia, Treasurer Vanessa van den Berg from the Netherlands and General Board Representative Teuta Nimani from Kosovo.

After eleven years of chairing the European Network of Policewomen Montserrat Pina from Barcelona, ​​addressed the network in a final speech.  Other members of the board wished her many thanks and wished her success in the future.

Montserrat offered her congratulations to the incoming president Katarina Tomaševič. She presented her with a small gift – a blue heart box with a yellow tulip – this is a symbol of The Netherlands where the network was founded in 1989.
