Representatives of the European Network of Police Women visit the facilities of the Ertzaintza
A group of five policewomen from Estonia, Lithuania and Slovenia visited various facilities of the Ertzaintza and the Basque Police and Emergency Academy on the 9th and 13th of April The visitors had been invited by the Directorate of the Ertzaintza on behalf of the European Network of Policewomen. During their stay they also took part in some cultural activities, giving them the opportunity to learn more about Basque society and the country.
These police are of different professional ranks and work in a wide range of areas, such as the Criminal Police Division, the General Directorate of Traffic and Guard and Border Police. They visited facilities, including the Erandio Police Center, where they were received by the Head of the Ertzaintza, Jorge Aldekoa, who personally answered all the questions asked by the guests.
